PARAMERA TYPE
Type Design
To address the lack of a graphic identity in Molina de Aragón, Europe’s most depopulated area, a typeface was created to visually represent the region. Inspired by the 1272 Medieval Charter of Molina, this font is a modern reinterpretation rather than a direct restoration. Designed as a variable font, it includes uppercase, lowercase, kerning adjustments, optical spacing, ligatures, contextual alternates, and 9 weights.
A website was also created to present the project, along with a merchandise line to support its funding. See the case study for more details.
